Aceves entstand in der Nacht, in der Cindy Aceves und Philipp Zinder heirateten – sie Mexikanerin, er Deutscher, zwei Länder, in einem Abend vereint.

Auf dem Fest schenkte Cindys Familie einen Tequila aus, den sie selbst gemacht hatte – so, wie ihre Familie es immer getan hatte. Für die deutschen Gäste stand für einen Moment der Raum still. Der Körper. Die Wärme. Der Geschmack. Es war nichts, was sie für Tequila gehalten hatten.

Diese Nacht wurde zu einer Frage, die das Paar nicht mehr losließ: Was, wenn sie einen Tequila machten, der beiden gehörte – mexikanische Seele, deutsche Geduld, ein gemeinsamer Geschmack?

Über fünf Jahre lang arbeiteten sie an einem einzigen Profil und verfeinerten es Charge um Charge, bis es nach ihnen beiden schmeckte. Heute trägt dieser Tequila Cindys Familiennamen – und er hat endlich den Weg vom Hochland Jaliscos in ein neues Zuhause in Deutschland gefunden.

Aceves was born the night Cindy Aceves and Philipp Zinder were married — one Mexican, one German, two countries joined in a single evening.

At the celebration, Cindy's family poured a tequila they had made themselves, the way her family always had. For the German guests, it stopped the room. The body of it. The warmth. The taste. It was nothing like the tequila they thought they knew.

That night became a question the couple couldn't put down: what if they made a tequila that belonged to both of them — Mexican soul, German patience, one shared flavor?

For more than five years they worked on a single profile, refining it batch by batch until it tasted like the two of them. Today that tequila carries Cindy's family name, and it has finally made the journey from the highlands of Jalisco to a new home in Germany.
