A single tequila, rested in oak and made to be savoured — born between Mexico and Germany.
Aroma
Roasted agave and American oak, lifted by soft floral notes, a thread of cinnamon, and a sweetness of vanilla and cream.
Palate
Smooth and creamy roasted agave — herbal, gentle, easy to return to. A hint of cinnamon, balanced between sweet and a faint, grounding salt.
Color
A deep wheat gold shaded with amber. Dense, glossy, clean in the glass. The colour of patience.
"A celebration of love, tradition, and the fusion of cultures. In the heart of Jalisco, Tequila Aceves was born from a unique love story — the marriage between Mexico's vibrant heritage and German timeless artistry. Crafted to honor the union of two distinct worlds, we perfected a one of a kind profile that harmoniously blends both cultures. This premium, artisanal reposado is made in small batches, bottled at origin. More than just tequila — it's a labor of love."
Not every tequila is made only from agave. Under Mexican law, just 51% of the sugars have to come from Blue Weber agave — the rest may come from other sources such as cane or corn sugar. This kind of tequila is commonly called “mixto”.
100% Agave — like Aceves
- All of the sugar comes from Blue Weber agave.
- Must be bottled in Mexico, inside the protected region of origin — Aceves is bottled at origin.
- The label says “100% agave”.
- A fuller, rounder agave flavour — the way tequila is meant to taste.
Mixto
- At least 51% agave sugars, up to 49% from other sugar sources.
- May be shipped abroad in bulk and bottled outside Mexico.
- The label simply says “Tequila”.
- Often harsher in taste — one reason the salt-and-lime ritual exists.
Aceves is 100% Blue Weber agave from the highlands of Arandas — with nothing added.
